Best time to visit.

Nakupenda Sand Bank is just above sea level during low tide and can only be reached by boat. During high tide, the Island literally shrinks and sinks under the water. Timing is essential, but do not stress; your local guide knows the right time to visit. You can book it as a part of a tour package or combine it with Prison Island. The best time to visit the island is early morning to avoid overcrowding.
