Experience Nungwi Beach
Nungwi Beach is excellent for deep-sea fishing, diving and snorkelling due to the beautiful coral reefs along the coastline. It is one of the few beaches in Zanzibar unaffected significantly by tidal undulations, making it ideal for all-day water activities. Some fish to catch include dorado, yellowfin, tuna, and massive striped marlin.
Other Excursions include Mnarani Turtle Conservation, Stone Town City Tour, Jozani Forest, dolphin tour, horseback riding, day trips to Mnemba Island, diving trips, and parasailing trips. One can do many things, but all it takes is a sunset sighting of traditional dhow boats bobbing in the sea to be enchanted by this picturesque African beach
Why Visit Nungwi Beach
Consistently warm temperatures: Nungwi Beach is located near the equator. The island of Zanzibar has warm, sunny weather most of the year, which makes it excellent if you want a body tan under the African sun or diving and snorkelling activities.
Breathtaking sunset views: over the tropical horizons as you enjoy a pina colada on a rooftop bar or while on a sunset cruise on a dhow boat.
Get up close with nature at Mnarani Natural Aquarium and Mnarani Turtle Conservation Project, which focuses on saving and releasing green and hawksbill turtles into the ocean in February.
Vibrant nightlife: If you want a good time, visit Nungwi's most sought-after bars after dark. Cholo’s Bar, the village's oldest bar, hosts events on Thursday nights, and Mangi’s Bar, the village's popular bar, are unique spots for cocktails.
