Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by a member of our team who will transfer you by road to Arusha Coffee Lodge . Arusha is situated beneath the towering peaks of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. Visit the extraordinary social enterprise Shanga that employs disabled people from the community to create export quality recycled glass products Go on the exciting and informative ‘Coffee Tour’, weaving in and out of the evergreen coffee trees, the coffee guide explains how the bean is nurtured, harvested, dried and finally roasted to produce a myriad of different blends that sate the taste of the most ardent of coffee connoisseurs

Arusha Coffee Lodge: 1 Night
Guests can enjoy delicious meals in the Coffee Lodge lounge or sip on their favourite drinks in the bar area. A boutique store, swimming pool and garden terrace add to guest delight. Other adventures include a tour of the Shanga social enterprise as well as visits to the Museum of Natural History, the Maasai market on Faya Road and the Tanzanite Experience. A game drive in Arusha National Park, accompanied by a delicious picnic lunch, makes for a wonderful outing.
Take a scheduled light aircraft flight to Manyara Airstrip. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Lake Manyara Tree Lodge with game drive enroute. Lake Manyara National Park offers a wilderness experience in diverse habitats, from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Apart from a spectacular setting, the park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions and the vast elephant herds it was established to protect.
The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives through this diverse habitat to look for tree climbing lions. Explore areas of the park that cannot be reached by day visitors and are undisturbed by others. You will traverse a mosaic of acacia woodlands, grassy floodplains and tall forest in search of wildlife.

Lake Manyara Tree Lodge: 2 Nights
Nine stilted treehouse suites, crafted from local timber and makuti palm fronds, weave a sophisticated blend of intimacy and romance, offering privacy and exclusivity in the cool, leafy surroundings, with elephant visitors passing through. Designed to exert minimal impact on the environment and provide a tranquil haven, the Lodge offers an exclusive interpretive safari in a more remote area of the National Park. Take a game drive through Manyara Park and up the escarpment towards the misty Crater highlands. Enjoy the productive farming area you drive through and stop at a local vegetable farm if you would like to on route to the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge Discover breath-taking wildlife on the spectacular Crater floor game drive, the game viewing on the Crater floor is sensational, as this unique eco system supports an abundance of game – look out for the Big Five!
If you would like to stretch your legs or get in touch with the surrounds, there are a number of hikes and walks – Empakai walk is a full day, but startlingly beautiful and well worth it. An area of vast natural beauty, on clear days the Crater offers views of Ol Doinyo Lengai, Tanzania’s most recently active volcano. If you prefer a gentler stroll, wander along the crater rim to take in the spectacular views.

Ngorongoro Crater Lodge: 1 Night
Each camp has its own sitting and dining areas, with private butlers who provide warm, personal service. With ever-changing views as mists swirl over the huge wildlife cauldron below, the location is truly breathtaking. Guests can be forgiven for losing track of which era, or even continent, they are experiencing at this lodge. Everything is chosen to delight the imagination and enhance the spectacular views of the magnificent surroundings.
Your adventure now takes you to the Serengeti. If culture and history are of interest, make a detour to Olduvai Gorge and Shifting Sands, where the Leakey’s made fascinating paleoanthropological discoveries After your fascinating discoveries you will either make your way to the lesser explored Western Serengeti to Grumeti.
Upon arrival you will be met by your safari guide who will transfer you to Singita Sasakwa Lodge. Built in the style of a stately Edwardian manor house and featuring a light and airy atmosphere, Singita Sasakwa Lodge offers panoramic views, a sense of immense freedom, and stillness. Dive or snorkel the brilliantly coloured reefs, an average water temperature of 26ºC / 79º and visibility of 30 to 40 metres / 100 to 130 feet, as well as truly staggering range of marine wildlife, make this an unforgettable diving destination.
Do a scuba diving course for those who would love to further explore the marine world. A variety of courses are offered. Align your body and mind or indulge in your favourite massage, body scrub or wellness treatment, with the best natural and organic products on offer. In addition to wonderful wellness treatments, indulge in a yoga class placed against the background of a clear ocean. Snorkelling is ideal for those who do not wish to do a scuba diving accreditation but who want to confidently explore the shallower coral reefs

Zuri Zanzibar: 4 Nights
Depart by boat to the crossing point, where a member of our team will meet and transfer you to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight to Dar es Salaam Domestic Airport. On arrival at the Domestic Terminal of Dar es Salaam International Airport you will be met by a representative and transferred to the International Terminal for your outbound flight.
